I was so excited for this challenge as I've been wanting to try out one of these super awesome cards for a bit now. I didn't use a tutorial, although there are many good ones around (including this one at Splitcoast) - It was one of those 'lets just wing it' situations using some basic math (thank goodness it was basic!).
I whipped out the Bright Blossom set, one I haven't used in (literally!) ages. I forgot how much fun it was. Combine that with some Blushing Bride and Soft Sky DSP and you've got yourself a sweet and soft little birthday card.
When you open it up...
You have a whole other world of card to enjoy! Petite Pairs was the absolute perfect stamp set to use for this card design. You can use one sentiment for the 'outside' and another for the inside. I left the far right/long panel for writing your own personalized birthday message.
The inside panels are decorated with the Little Leaves sizzlet cut from Soft Sky and the small butterfly punch. A few pearl accents, a Soft Sky bow, et voila!
Check out the challenge this week:
- Create a project with "Polka Dots"
- Create a project with a "Fun Fold"
- or Mash it Up and create a "Fun Fold project with some Polka Dots"
Thanks for stopping by today!

Tara, very cute card. These shutters cards have always intrigued me, but I have never tried one. Thanks for being a great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteTara, the Bright Blossoms was a perfect set to use with the polka dotty bouquet! For sure, this is an awesome fun fold with ample space for writing on the last panel. I would literally CASE this exactly as it is perfect!
