This week at The Friday Mashup Cindy has a challenge for us that will start us thinking about Spring again (oh, happy day!).
I used the flowers from Best of Flowers and coloured them with Blender Pens. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush and Raspberry Ripple to colour the image, with a little bit of Old Olive for the leaves.
The top layer was done with a sheet of Vellum. I cut out the framelit from the centre, and before I removed the framelit die, I sponged all around the vellum piece with Crisp Canteloupe. It's such a soft look.
I finished the card off with a little banner and a Vintage Faceted button tied with a bit of Baker's Twine and there I was done!
Check out the challenge this week:
- Create a project that's "Monochromatic"
- Create a project with "Flowers"
- or Mash it Up and Create a "Monochromatic project with flowers"
Thanks for stopping by today!
