I flip-flopped about 3 or 4 times with this one between using 3 photos (as per the sketch), or one bigger photo. I opted for this great shot of my boys during a walk in early October.
For this page, I used the International Bazaar Designer Paper - I just love the colours and designs in these papers. I finally got to use the Feather Woodcuts (love them!) and I recoloured the Burlap ribbon to match the map in the background.
Check out the sketch this week:
Please stop by and say hi and show us what you can do with MDS!

The one photo works well - it's an adorable shot! Don't you just love being able to change the colour of the burlap!!!! And I absolutely love how you've "stitched" the little banner pieces together - totally makes sense!
ReplyDeleteI love that you took a pastel color and made it work with Boys.. This page is so adorable.. you ROCK MDS!
ReplyDeleteI love the subtle map background and the stripes of flags. The recolored burlap ribbon is so cool. I didn't recognize it.
