This week, Melissa has some really great colours for us at Sunday Stamps! I'll admit, I was a bit nervous at first, not knowing what to do with these... but that lightbulb moment did eventually come:
For the boot, I stamped on Whisper White and then paper pierced with Early Espresso and More Mustard. The stars are cut out from Marina Mist.
I've used the Woodgrain embossing folder on the background of More Mustard, and sponged it lightly. I added a layer embossed in stripes and then a panel of Early Espresso Core'Dinations paper.
I finished it off with some faux stitching on the white, and the mustard (to match the stitching in the boot). The rhinestones were added as a little tribute to Glen Campbell ;) The last addition was the Linen Thread lasso and crocheted embellishment on the left.
Check out the colours and the wonderful projects from the rest of the design team!
Last night, my hubby and I went out on a date night. We played a game of darts, had some nachos and then played a couple games of pool. It was pretty awesome, I must say. Here's a shot of the sharp shooter:
Thanks for stopping by today!

ReplyDeleteGreat card Tara! I love how you braided the linen thread and created the little lasso!
