I had the chance today to play along with two challenges (this is what happens when there is an extra day in the weekend - I find time to get crafty!)
I wanted to say that I finally made a card without using my Copics... but it would be a lie! I started with a piece of Whisper White for the birdcage, and I felt like it was too stark up against the patterned paper, so I coloured a section with W1 to tone it down a bit, and then stamped on that.
I played along with the following challenges:
Just Us Girls was looking for burlap... Not difficult for this burlap-lovin' gal! In fact, you'll see it in every photo of mine, as there's a nice little strip lining my lightbox :)
The Paper Players were looking for birds! Again... right up my alley! I couldn't resist combining the two challenges.
