In fact, the first year I ever missed going to my hometown fair was when I was giving birth to my youngest son. Now, he usually celebrates his birthdays at the fairgrounds :)
With all that being said, I had a hard time deciding what to do for my project this week. I wanted to incorporate cotton candy and the 'prizes' you win from the games. I decided to try my hand at drawing my own image for this challenge. I call her Cotton Candi. She's a bit angrier than I had intended her to look though!
Check out the challenge this week:
- Create a project "inspired by the State Fair"
- Create a project using "punches"
- or Mash it Up! and create a project "inspired by the Fair and using your punches"
We are in full-on clean/pack mode in preparation of listing our house for sale, so unfortunately my craft room is bare bones. I've packed and stored all my punches, so was unable to mash it up this week.
Be sure to stop by and check out all the wonderful cards by the design team.
Thanks for stopping by today!

ReplyDeleteTara, you are the s**t! Just so talented! At first, I was like "wow, look at that hair!" and then when you said you DREW the image I was absolutely blown away. I really hope that you think about selling digi's because you have a unique style that is totally endearing. :D j
