Monochromatic week at Colour Me...!

Good morning!

Today is the first day with the new Design Team at Colour Me...! We're starting the month off, as always, with a monochromatic challenge. One of my favourites :) This week we're going with Blackberry Bliss.


I made this card for my niece's 16th birthday. I had originally wanted to make her a cake similar to this cake, but I was smart and realized my own limitation as a cake decorator and just transferred the idea to a card instead.

    Love how you used the cake as inspiration for your card Tara! The pattern and texture really work well together - perfect for a discerning 16 year old too! So excited to be joining you over at Colour Me...! this term.

    You just made me chuckle when I read that "you realized your own limitations" when it came to re-creating the cake. That could've been me. But, goodness, your card is such a great interpretation of the cake, I'm sure your nice loved it! Looking forward to creating with you over at Colour Me…!
