Our challenge was to create a project with trees and embossing (heat or dry). I chose to do a whole bunch of dry embossing! I saw these really funky trees at a store not too long ago, on some super awesome pillows... Unfortunately, the pillows didn't match my decor, so they didn't come home with me ;)
I embossed panels of Whisper White with various embossing folders and then cut them out freehand in different tree-like shapes. The pillow had patterned 'trees' and then solid circles in them, so I mimicked that with some un-embossed white circles.
The tree trunks were cut from a piece of Whisper White that I had stamped with the Hardwood background stamp. A little anniversary greeting was stamped at the top in Sahara sand.
Check out the challenge this week:
- Create a project with "Trees"
- Create a project with "Heat or Dry Embossing"
- Or Mash it Up and create a project with "Embossing and Trees"
We would love to see what you create this week.
Thanks for stopping by today!

How unbelievably creative, Tara. So much texture and WOW with a white card. The Sahara sand is just great on it as well. I stared for quite a time at this beauty:)
