Lisa's got us using some bright, spring-y colours and she wants us to create our own sentiment! No stamps, rub-ons, chipboard, etc. So, here's what I got:
I used the wonderfully awesome By The Tide stamp set for the main images and added my own sentiment by using the Word Window punch negative as a 'guide'. I punched out the Word Window, laid it over my card base and freehanded the Any"FIN" is Possible sentiment inside it. For the fun of it, I added some little air bubbles from the fish too ;)
Let's check out what Lisa has in store for us this week:
- Make a project with the colors "Raspberry Ripple, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive".
- Or Make a project "Creating your own Sentiment (No Stamps, Stickers, Chipboard etc.).
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a project "With your own Sentiment using the Colors above".
Please check out what the rest of the fabulous Design Team has come up with and then play along! We can't wait to see what you do :)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Ha, I just loved your sentiment! So funny, and you used great font too.
ReplyDeleteHey Tara, that font is similar to what you use on your blog. What is the name of it?
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi,
DeleteThe font on my card is actually just my handwriting - it's not a real font.
The font in my watermark (is that the one you're referring to?) is "KG Skinny Latte" and is a free download from here: http://www.dafont.com/kg-skinny-latte.font
I LOVE that font.
Beautiful card Tara! I just loved how you used that stamp set.
ReplyDeleteHugs ;)
Tara I just ADORE your handwritten sentiment!! That looks so awesome, and I love the way you used the set!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun use of this new stamp set! Your greeting is so fun a cute! The splatter in the background is such a nice accent!
