Christmas in July!!

Good Friday morning!!

Time for another Friday Mashup challenge! Hold on to your red and white hats, folks! This one's going to blow your stockings off :)

Lisa has us celebrating Christmas in July! Yippee!!! She's also challenging us to decorate the inside of our card as well. I used the new "Open Sleigh" set from the Annual Catalogue. When I first saw the catalogue, I knew I needed that set. Believe it or not, this is my first time using it!

Merry Christmas
 



 And here's the inside:

Stamps: Open Sleigh, More Merry Messages
Colours: Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Paper: Be of Good Cheer
Embellishments: Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon

Here's the challenge for you this week:
So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:

  1. Make a project "For Christmas."
  2. Or Make a greeting card and "Decorate the Inside."
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Christmas Card & Decorate the Inside."

    Tara I LOVE this card and may just have to buy this stamp set now :) I agree with Carol love how you added the crumb cake stocking behind the sentiment, sweet idea!!!

    Awesome card Tara! I was instantly smitten with that set also, although I didnt get it on my preorder. Its definitely going on my next order!

    I agree with the other ladies, I love how you put the sentiment over the stocking, it drew my eye right in!

    Such a sweet card Tara! My favourite part is how you did the sentiment on the inside - the flourish looks amazing stamped underneath the sentiment the way you have - simple but so effective!

    I love the lighter stocking behind the words! That DSP looks perfect how you've used it here, and the Merry Christmas on the inside..."sigh" just gorgeous! I wasn't to thrilled with this set the first time I saw it, but you may have changed my mind!
