Time for another Friday Mashup challenge! Hold on to your red and white hats, folks! This one's going to blow your stockings off :)
Lisa has us celebrating Christmas in July! Yippee!!! She's also challenging us to decorate the inside of our card as well. I used the new "Open Sleigh" set from the Annual Catalogue. When I first saw the catalogue, I knew I needed that set. Believe it or not, this is my first time using it!
Merry Christmas
And here's the inside:
Stamps: Open Sleigh, More Merry Messages
Colours: Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Paper: Be of Good Cheer
Embellishments: Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon
So here is the "Mashup" Challenge:
- Make a project "For Christmas."
- Or Make a greeting card and "Decorate the Inside."
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Christmas Card & Decorate the Inside."

OhMyGosh!!! I love it!! I love that stocking tucked behind the words!! GREAT idea! Love it!
ReplyDeleteTara I LOVE this card and may just have to buy this stamp set now :) I agree with Carol love how you added the crumb cake stocking behind the sentiment, sweet idea!!!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! I also love how you didn't just stamp something on the inside, but you added the DSP and ribbon too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Your project has been chosen for Blog finds of the Day on 7/30. If you would like to see other projects chosen please visit blogfindsoftheday.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAwesome card Tara! I was instantly smitten with that set also, although I didnt get it on my preorder. Its definitely going on my next order!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other ladies, I love how you put the sentiment over the stocking, it drew my eye right in!
Such a sweet card Tara! My favourite part is how you did the sentiment on the inside - the flourish looks amazing stamped underneath the sentiment the way you have - simple but so effective!
ReplyDeleteI love how this came out.. Now I need this set too. Ha Ha, I really like how you used the pattern papers. The crumb cake ribbon is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love the lighter stocking behind the words! That DSP looks perfect how you've used it here, and the Merry Christmas on the inside..."sigh" just gorgeous! I wasn't to thrilled with this set the first time I saw it, but you may have changed my mind!
ReplyDeleteLove the matching layout, inside and out! And the "generation" stamping is brilliant.
